Whether it is ghazal, nazm or geet, Manzar Bhopali has expressed his cherished thoughts and emotions in all of these literary tools. He has commented on current affairs, Muslim issues, state of the world, state of women, state of India and the need for communal harmony and peace among multiple issues that have made an impact on his psyche. His listeners have deeply felt and appreciated his thought patterns in his poetry and songs.

This has brought him many awards and honours both in India and abroad. He was given the honorary citizenship in Louisville, Kentucky, USA and was felicitated with the key to the city.

In April 2018, he was honored with the 'Pride of Madhya Pradesh' Award by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for his contribution to Urdu and Hindi Literature.
